Starbuck Driving

Friendly & professional driving school

Provisional License

Before your first lesson, you need to make sure you’ve got your provisional driving licence.

You do this by filling out Driving Licence (form D1) from either the DVLA, your local Post Office, or you can apply online.

You will need to send original documentation confirming your identity (eg. UK Passport), a passport style photograph and the fee of either £34 or £43. You can find more information here.

Lessons

If you’re nervous about your 1st Lesson then you don’t need to be. I’m here to help you as much as you need and the lessons progress at your pace. After I’ve picked you up from home, college, or work I’ll drive to a quiet area where we can begin.

I’m very flexible in regards to lesson duration to ensure you get the most from your time. 1 hour, 90 minute, and 2 hour lessons are available, all which can be specifically tailored to your needs. The car you’ll be driving is a VW Polo which is comfortable and reliable. It’s fully insured for your use and also fitted with dual controls in case the need arises for me to intervene!

You’ll be provided with a Pupil Progress Card which includes everything on the syllabus towards your test. At the end of every lesson we’ll discuss the improvements you’ve made and any areas that need to be worked on.

When nearing your test date, I can also give you a Mock Test to give you an idea of what to expect on the day.

After you’ve passed your test we can discuss continuing with further learning through the Pass Plus course. This should enhance your driving ability even further, including the bonus of reduced motor insurance.
